The history and traditions of the German farming town of Hardissen, and the lineage of the Brinkmeyer clan, can be traced in a new book written by Dr. Nicolas Rugge and translated into English courtesy of Marc Brinkmeyer. Sections of the book were written by contributor Wilhelm Brinkmeyer, who owns the family farm in Hardissen. That original farm has now been in the family for more than 500 years.
