Riley Creek is a great believer in good causes.

From the beginning, Owner and President Marc Brinkmeyer's philosophy has been to reinvest wholeheartedly in the communities where the people of Riley Creek live, work and play.

The company is a huge supporter of youth sports and organizations, and participates in a wealth of community activities and events.

In just one example, when the Bonner County Fairgrounds needed the rodeo grounds rebuilt, Riley Creek was there to donate more than $2,000 in lumber to the project.

The future of young people is one of the most important causes, and Riley Creek has created a scholarship program to help students and their families reach their dreams of higher education. Local schools receive support for everything from the wildlife club to the softball team. We are a proud supporter of Graduation Night for local high schools, and we sponsor the Boys Scouts of America. We've helped kids realize their dreams at 4H competitions.

When it comes to sports, Riley Creek is definitely a team player. We sponsor the American Legion Baseball Team, the Riley Creek Lakers. We are proud to support the Lakeland Jr. Tackle Football Association. We've even helped send Ironman athletes on the quest of a lifetime.

We support Hoopfest teams and Bloomsday runners. Bowling, basketball, softball and Babe Ruth baseball are all sports in which Riley Creek proudly applauds the athletic endeavors of our communities.

The arts also create a sense of community, which is why Riley Creek is an annual sponsor of the Festival at Sandpoint and supports the Lake City Playhouse
